DL- Festői Madeira, 2. nap

 Elkezdődött a tanítás a Learning Together központban. Eddig is remek helyeken voltak a képzések, de most az ötcsillagos Casino Hotel, Rio de Janeiro konferenciateremben tágítjuk a tudásunkat, elég luxy.

Classes have started at the Learning Together center. So far, the trainings have been held in great locations, but now we are expanding our knowledge in the conference room of the five-star Casino Hotel, Rio de Janeiro, which is quite luxurious.

A csoport tagjai: két tanárnő Finnországból, láthatóan hozzák a finn életérzést, a sisu-t, boldogok és magabiztosak. Egy matek tanárnő Olaszórszágból, három lengyel szociális munkás, akik idős emberek foglalkoztatásával foglalkoznak, az egyik egyáltalán nem beszél angolul, rendszerint kint ül a társalgóban és mobilozik, szerintem Ő csak a felesége miatt van itt, aki viszont nagyon aktív. Egy pár Szlovákiából, akik megalapították a szlovák Erasmus rendszert, három litván kolléganő, az egyik friss diplomás, de nagyon tájékozott, mert földrajz szakos. Egy spanyol kolléga, akinek egy szavát se lehet érteni, abból tudom, hogy mit mondhat, hogy a tanárunk mit felel neki, és egy nyugdíjas de óraadóként dolgozó magyar kolléganő Pestről, aki szinte mindent tanít, amire éppen aznap szükség van. Remek kis csapat, remek Trainer-el, Sérgio-van, aki legalább 3 dolog doktora,  földrajz szakon doktori fokozata van. Kutatási területei közé tartozik a hidrológia, a folyami geomorfológia, a lejtődinamika, a városi klimatológia, az intenzív csapadék és a környezeti kockázatkezelés. Szóval van fogalma a fenntarthatóságról.

The group consists of two teachers from Finland, who clearly bring the Finnish way of life, sisu, they are happy and confident. A math teacher from Italy, three Polish social workers who deal with the employment of the elderly, one of whom does not speak any English at all, usually sits outside in the lounge and uses his mobile phone, I think he is only here because of his wife, who is very active. A couple from Slovakia, who founded the Slovak Erasmus system, three Lithuanian colleagues, one of whom is a recent graduate, but very knowledgeable because he is a geography major. A Spanish colleague, who cannot be understood at all, I know from what she says what our teacher answers her, and a retired Hungarian colleague from Pest who works as a tutor, who teaches almost everything that is needed that day. A great little team, with a great Trainer, Sérgio, who has a doctorate in at least 3 things, a doctorate in geography. His research interests include hydrology, fluvial geomorphology, slope dynamics, urban climatology, intense rainfall, and environmental risk management. So he has a grasp of sustainability.

Bele is csaptunk, persze a "mutatkozzunk be egymásnak" rész nem maradhatott ki, de ez nem is baj, nagyon szeretem az Erazmus kurzusok ezen részét, rengeteg érdekes emberrel, élettörténettel és tanítási feltételekkel találkozok ilyenkor. A legérdekesebb, amit már Máltán és Tenerifén is tapasztaltam, hogy mindenki családdal utazik, hozzák a gyereküket, férjüket, feleségüket, nagyszülőket és a képzésre ráfűznek egy komplett családi nyaralát. E remek szemlélet.

We did it, of course the "let's introduce ourselves" part couldn't be left out, but that's okay, I really like this part of Erasmus courses, I meet a lot of interesting people, life stories and teaching conditions. The most interesting thing, which I have already experienced in Malta and Tenerife, is that everyone travels with their families, they bring their children, husbands, wives, grandparents and add a complete family vacation to the training. This is a great approach.

Szóval Sérgio nem laca-facázott, belevágott a fenntarthatóság közepébe, aminek azonnal éreztük, hogy nem lesz jó vége, az első pár dia után kiderült, hogy vagy magunkat nyírjuk ki lassan de biztosan, mert csak az embernek van szüksége a természetre, a temészetnek nincs szüksége az emberekre, vagy a chat GDB taszít minket romlásba. Sajnos mindkettővel egyetértek. Rengeteg lehetőséget említett, hogy mit és hogyan lehetne, de ehhez olyan globális összefogásra lenne szükség, ami ezidáig példátlan volt az emberiség életéban. Szerintem a föld alig várja, hogy leadjuk a rendszámot, hogy utána fellélegezhessen. Úgyhogy abban maradtunk az óra végére, hogy védjük a természetet, amennyire tudjuk, de élvezzük ki az életet, ki tudja meddig lehet.

So Sérgio didn't mess around, he went into the middle of sustainability, which we immediately felt wouldn't end well, after the first few slides it became clear that we would either slowly but surely exterminate ourselves, because only humans need nature, nature doesn't need humans, or the chat GDB is pushing us into ruin. Unfortunately, I agree with both. He mentioned a lot of possibilities for what and how it could be, but this would require a global collaboration that has been unprecedented in the life of humanity so far. I think the earth can't wait for us to hand over the license plate so that it can breathe. So by the end of the lesson we were left with the idea of ​​protecting nature as much as we can, but enjoying life for who knows how long.

Az iskola szervezésében, délután, részt vehettünk, az összes Erazmus-os, egy Catamarán-os delfin és bálna nézős hajókiránduláson. Azt hiszem itt kell a festői jelzőt újra használnom. Az óceán sötét türkiz kék és tiszta, Funchal látvány a vízről gyögyörű, a delfinek nagyon cukik és a víz hőmérséklete szinte kellemes volt. Remek három órát töltöttünk a hajón, ahol a többi idősebb Erazmus-os magyar kollégát is megismertem, akik a másik három kurzuson vesznek részt, ami egyidőben van az enyémmel. Elmesélték, hogy merre jártak eddig. leesett az állam, Izland, Málta, Tenerife, Martiniq, Azori szigetek, Reunion, most Madeira, mindent beutaztak. 

In the afternoon, all the Erasmus students were able to participate in a dolphin and whale watching boat trip on a Catamaran organized by the school. I think I have to use the adjective picturesque again here. The ocean is dark turquoise blue and clear, the view of Funchal from the water is beautiful, the dolphins are very cute and the water temperature was almost pleasant. We spent a great three hours on the boat, where I also met the other older Hungarian Erasmus colleagues who are participating in the other three courses, which are at the same time as mine. They told me where they had been so far. The state fell, Iceland, Malta, Tenerife, Martiniq, Azores, Reunion, now Madeira, they have traveled everywhere.
